Ranbaxy Fine Chemicals is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited, India's largest and amongst the top pharmaceutical companies in the world. Ranbaxy Fine Chemicals Limited markets and manufactures laboratory chemicals and pharmaceutical intermediates.

As an intern, I conducted extensive primary and secondary research in key markets. The research was aimed at determining the details of competitive distribution network and finalize optimal prices for a new range of products.

Achievements

• Collected very important competitive data on the distribution network and competitor sales margins at each level.
• Devised a launch strategy and an aggressive marketing mix for a new range of laboratory chemicals.
