I recently graduated with a Masters in Advertising with
a concentration in Account Planning from UT (GPA
4.0)
Ranked amongst
the top 3 graduate programs in the country, it is the only one that has
a dedicated sequence in Account Planning.
Focus
- My area of focus while at UT was the highly reputed
Account Planning sequence. The sequence equips you with the essential
tools and techniques needed for gaining consumer insights and devising
the overall brand strategy.
- I believe
that an Account planner's role is not just limited to providing strategic
inputs or writing a brief for creating advertising. I view myself as
a brand consultant who is not only interested using research for building
communication touch points. But rather in combining these insights with
the brand's organizational and external environment for strategic marketplace
solutions.
