The Davis Group, Inc. is a media planning and placement agency operating out of Austin, Texas since 1978.

Training to be an Account planner at the Univeristy of Texas at Austin, I discovered the other planning role I love - that of a media planner. I believe a succesful planner regardless of the title is astute in understanding consumer needs, habits and trends. When so much of media planning and buying is based on pure numbers, a planner's judgement and insightfulness is what I bring to my job.

Current responsibilities include broadcast, print, outdoor and online media planning and buying for high profile clients including Time Warner, News 8 Austin, Infinity Broadcasting and Austin American Statesman. I am also leading the agency initiative for Interactive advertising and setting the metrics for Online media planning and buying.

I initially trained on Strata as a media planning and buying system and have since moved to SmartPlus software for our media planning, buying and reporting needs.
